About us.

I’ve been growing succulents since 2012. When I bought my first 3 succulents I was excited and completely clueless. I hadaseen succulents in a few magazines (before Instagram was a big deal), and thought they looked cool. So one gray day in February I bought some.

I was NOT growing succulents in the “perfect” climate — I had them on my window sill in my basement apartment. In fact, even since then, I’ve never had the “perfect” environment for succulents, and yet I have a thriving collection now of over 300 succulents.

Along the way, I made a lot of mistakes. I’ve accidentally drowned, burned, frozen, and starved more succulents than I care to remember. That’s why I created this site: so you can save your succulents from the same mistakes I did with mine – or help them recover, if necessary.
